David Stone, AIA, NCARB is the director of operations of Los Angeles architecture firm Tim Barber Ltd.

David Stone, AIA, NCARB


David joined Tim Barber Ltd. as director of operations in September 2018, bringing over 15 years’ experience and expertise in architectural design and management to our firm. He is instrumental in improving and developing documents and operational processes that help us best serve our clients. A former professor of AutoCAD and Revit, David also helms our studio-wide 3D modeling and rendering education initiatives, enabling us to provide clients with a variety of project visualization tools.

David earned both his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Community Planning & Urban Design degrees from Auburn University, and is a licensed architect in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). 

Furthermore, David is a founding member of the onePULSE Foundation Design and Construction Committee and continues to provide guidance on the creation of the permanent Pulse Memorial and Museum. He also chaired Canstruction Orlando’s food drive-design/build competition from 2013-2018, and looks forward to championing the cause in his adoptive city of Los Angeles.
