Georgian Revival Residence

Pacific Palisades, California

This Georgian Revival custom residence was a labor of love for Tim and interior designer Kristen Panitch. Well-proportioned rooms and magical natural light bring serenity and warmth to this thoughtful home. Clad in shingles and slate, a broad breezeway, stone chimneys and tall windows define this home for an active family of four.

Inventive yet familiar details abound—pullout trays for morning coffee in the study, hidden doors, a laundry chute, plus storage cabinets and secret kid spaces are tucked into the attic at every turn. There is even a private passage to a yoga room—for a true escape. Mudroom cubbies, bookcases, a telephone table, window seat storage and a true butler’s pantry provide a place for anything and everything.
