Working with what has come before Us is
a challenge we gladly accept.
Adding to a home in a way that respects and complements can be a dilemma. Fortunately, we enjoy finding effective solutions for unique problems. First, we work to fully understand the client goals for the endeavor. Second, we carefully study the forms, materials, proportion and details of the existing architecture. Next, we evaluate the effect of the proposed work on the property, light and air, the neighbors and street-scape. Finally, we apply a combination of imagination, research and problem-solving creativity to conceive of a home that is more beautiful and useful than ever before.
